Company Registration in Saint Vincent

Company registration in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has undergone significant changes that took effect on January 1, 2019 — changes that should not be overlooked if you are considering incorporating in this island nation. Interestingly, for many, the country is still associated with a classic offshore haven. A simple registration process, absence of taxes and reporting obligations, and the option to form an IBC (International Business Company) — these were once its hallmark features, some of which remain, while others are now a thing of the past. Let’s take a closer look at what company registration in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines entails in 2025.

Reminder: An IBC (International Business Company) is a special legal form that was widely used in offshore jurisdictions primarily to obtain tax exemptions. In most such jurisdictions, specific legislation — the IBC Act — governs all matters related to the establishment of these entities.

With the global trend toward deoffshorization, the number of countries where it is still possible to register an IBC has sharply decreased.
